ATLAS is a by-product of the earlier Full Service Life initiative to develop an administration system for Life Products. rn The Full Service Life solution was a tactical approach that required modifying existing legacy systems, particularly the current Vantage administrative system. Vantage evolved over the years on a case-by-case basis to support each new large corporate group. rn As part of the offshore team, the goal was to customize the existing Policy Administration processes in ATLAS to fit the requirements. The project involved major modification of all the critical processes of ATLAS such as Enrollment Processing & Coverage processing. The Bank approves for card after verifying the details of the customer and the transaction gets started. Using the card the customer can withdraw money and purchase goods in the merchant shop.rn The system is developed using CICS as front end with Data Base/ Data Communication system developed by IBM, which forms the layer between the application programs and the operating system. DB2 is used to maintain the tables of the customers and their transactions.
